The Horatio developed from a sole United Empire billionaire; a person so wealthy and so long-lived that they got tired of everything. Departing alone on a colony ship, the industrialist luxuriated in complete and unbridled control of a recently discovered world. All was fine in this little empire, until a combination of loneliness and personal eccentricities threatened a descent into madness...
Using technology found in a temple on the planet’s moon that had been left behind by the ancient starfaring race known as the Endless, Horatio was initially amused by re-fashioning their own body according to very particular principles of what is beautiful…
Still dissatisfied, the next step was the creation of an entire race from Horatio’s DNA in order to provide a host of loyal – and physically attractive – followers.
Thus were the Horatio created, in the image of Horatio, for the glory of Horatio. The faction has a single goal in mind: To beautify the universe by filling it with the most perfect copies possible of the most gorgeous being ever to live – Horatio.
